Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe's in New Jersey seeks an experienced Pasta/Mozzarella Production Manager to oversee fresh pasta and mozzarella making following authentic Italian recipes. You will supervise staff, manage batch processes, and ensure quality, while engaging guests with knowledge of pasta- and mozzarella-making.

The role requires hands-on production skills, weekend availability, and strong customer service focus to maintain high standards in a busy department.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in cheese/dairy with strong customer service.
• Excellent customer service with upsell ability.
• Basic math skills required.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Highly organized and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Must speak/read English.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Record daily ingredient weights and batch data.
• Supervise staff, interview, train and schedule.
• Adjust time cycles and ingredients for batches.
• Ensure quality control and manage waste.
• Weigh, package and label lab offerings.
• Stock display refrigerators accurately.
• Provide guests with pasta and mozzarella process info.
• Clean workstation per food safety practices.
• Ensure collateral supplies are stocked and used.
• Perform other duties as required.
