Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Architect for its Google COE to design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud. You will lead architecture efforts, work with cross-functional teams, and help migrate and modernize data estates with real-time and batch pipelines.

The role emphasizes collaboration, governance, and scalable cloud-native data architectures, with hybrid in-person work and proximity to Slalom offices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of BigQuery, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and data orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in Python/Java/SQL and cloud-native data stores.
• Ability to lead architecture sessions with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, architecture, design, and delivery of the client’s next-gen Google Cloud Data Platform.
• Facilitate design sessions and drive consensus between Slalom and client teams.
• Engage in pre-sales activities, shaping data modernization approaches and delivery plans.
