Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Architect for its Google COE to design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will help migrate and modernize data estates, implement real-time and batch pipelines, and enable governed analytics to accelerate AI-ready data foundations.

You will lead architecture sessions, communicate trade-offs and risks, and ensure quality delivery using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Looker.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise data platforms on GCP.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architectures and data governance.
• Ability to lead design sessions with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, architecture, design, and delivery of client data platforms on GCP.
• Facilitate working sessions, describe trade-offs and risks clearly.
• Drive delivery of real-time and batch data pipelines and governance.
• Support pre-sales and delivery planning in collaboration with teams.
