Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Architect for its Google COE to design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud. You will work with cross-functional teams to migrate and modernize data estates, implement real-time and batch data platforms, and enable governed analytics and AI-ready data foundations.

Ideal candidates bring deep Google Cloud data engineering expertise, strong communication skills, and a track record of guiding design sessions with client teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud
• Proficiency with BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc and Pub/Sub
• Experience in data governance, metadata management and data quality patterns
• Strong programming in Python/Java/SQL and engineering best practices

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, architecture, design, and delivery of a Google Cloud Data Platform solution
• Collaborate with Slalom and client teams to facilitate design sessions and drive consensus
• Architect scalable, governed, and AI-ready data platforms on GCP
• Contribute to pre-sales activities including shaping data modernization approaches
