Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Architect for its Google COE. You will design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud, using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, and more. You will guide client engagements, lead architecture sessions, and help modernize data estates with a focus on governance and AI-ready foundations.

You will collaborate with Slalom teams and clients, bridging business needs with technical solutions while staying ahead of cloud-native data engineering trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data architecture experience with Google Cloud.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms on GCP.
• Strong knowledge of BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc.
• Proficient in Python, Java, and SQL.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud Platform.
• Lead architecture discussions and facilitate design sessions with clients and Slalom teams.
• Moster capabilities across batch and real-time data processing.
