Slalom is seeking a Data Architect for its Google COE to design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud. You will work with BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Looker to enable scalable analytics and AI-ready data foundations.

You will lead architecture sessions with clients and Slalom teams, migrating legacy environments and enabling real-time and batch data platforms. A hybrid work arrangement and commutable distance to Slalom offices are expected.

Formación

• Experience with Google Cloud data engineering and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, SQL.
• Experience with Looker / Looker Studio and data visualization.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud.
• Architect solutions using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, DataProc, Pub/Sub, Looker and other GCP services.
• Lead analysis, architecture, design, and delivery of the client’s data platform on Google Cloud.
• Explain trade-offs, risks, and implementation paths; drive team to consensus.
• Participate in pre-sales shaping data modernization approaches.
