Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Architect for its Google COE to design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud. You’ll work with collaborative teams to architect solutions using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, and more, guiding clients through modernization and AI-ready data foundations.

You will lead design sessions, communicate trade-offs and risks, and drive delivery with Slalom and client teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive Google Cloud data engineering experience and enterprise data platform design.
• Experience migrating data estates to Google Cloud and modernizing data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Looker integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale data platforms on GCP.
• Lead architecture sessions with clients and Slalom teams.
• Participate in pre-sales shaping Google Cloud data modernization approaches.
• Communicate trade-offs, risks, and implementation paths clearly.
• Mentor engineers and ensure quality delivery.
