Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking a Data Architect for its Google COE to design and deliver enterprise‑scale data platforms on Google Cloud. You will collaborate with client teams to translate business needs into scalable architectures using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Looker, guiding modernization and real‑time data workflows.

You will lead architecture sessions, communicate trade‑offs, and mentor engineers while participating in pre‑sales activities to shape data modernization

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions with clients and teams.
• Experience migrating data estates to Google Cloud.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, architecture, and delivery of data platform solutions on GCP.
• Architect solutions using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Looker, and other services.
• Facilitate design sessions with Slalom and client technical teams to drive consensus.
• Support pre-sales activities including defining technical options and delivery plans.
