Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Sr. Network / Hybrid Engineer to design secure, reliable connectivity between mission environments and Google Cloud for federal and DoD customers. You will design and deliver connectivity for L100 AI Landing Zones capability.

The role includes VPC design, routing, DNS, firewalling, and observability, with hybrid/remote work and travel to customer sites (~10–25%). Active clearance or eligibility is required, with comprehensive benefits for full‑time staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant technical or engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with VPC, BGP, HA VPN, Interconnect, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, Private Google Access, and packet/flow analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design Shared VPC, routing, DNS, load balancing, VPN/Interconnect, segmentation, and network troubleshooting.
• Implement solutions using VPC, BGP, HA VPN, Interconnect, DNS, and firewalls.
• Mentor team members and contribute reusable standards.
• Support RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities.
