Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a friendly golf shop associate to support daily operations and guest services. You will handle tee times, assist with merchandise displays, and answer shop calls while maintaining accurate play logs and ensuring smooth check-in for golfers.

The role requires strong communication, a helpful demeanor, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Previous golf knowledge is preferred, with paid time off offered as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Computer experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills required.
• Must be able to meet public in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Golf knowledge preferred.
• Ability to stand throughout duration of shift.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Takes tee times as needed under club rules.
• Maintains up-to-date information regarding play for golfers at check-in.
• Assists with displaying golf shop merchandise.
• Answers golf shop telephones.
• Maintains play logs.
• Assists with stock levels for par stock.
• Checks golfers in and collects fees.
• Uses cash register.
• Assists customers in merchandise selection.
• Wraps gifts.
• Keeps up with special events (tournaments).
• Assists with weekly/monthly display changes.
