Job summary

Reynolds Lake Oconee is seeking a full-time golf attendant to greet guests, load and unload clubs, and maintain clean, functional carts. You will assist with the practice facility, range setup, and club storage, while providing courteous service to members and guests.

Responsibilities include cart maintenance, inventory, and helping ensure rules are followed by staff and guests. Must be 16+, physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, and able to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Golf knowledge or experience in a golf-related position preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to communicate easily with members and guests.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to perform moderate physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be physically able to bend, stoop, and lift repeatedly throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and members as they arrive and depart.
• Load and unload golf clubs from vehicles and carts.
• Provide clean, well-stocked, functioning carts.
• Assist with upkeep of bag drop, valet area, and practice facility.
• Clean and deliver clubs to members after rounds.
• Maintain carts and clubs in storage; inventory and maintenance.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, detailing carts.
• Service practice facility: wash and replenish balls, inspect balls, keep area trash-free.
• Charge carts as needed; ensure gas vehicles are gassed.
• Perform periodic cart maintenance (tires, battery water, service log).
• Prepare driving range for the day.
• Provide customer service at end of round; help place clubs in vehicles.
• Coordinate with golf shop staff to enforce rules (dress, beverage policy).
• Maintain radio contact with shop for up-to-date information.
