Job summary

Troon is seeking a friendly Golf Shop Associate at Cedarcrest Golf Course in Marysville, WA for a seasonal, part-time role lasting up to 6 months. You will assist guests, support golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and basic POS tasks while learning golf club operations.

Compensation is $18.00-$19.00 per hour. Eligible benefits include healthcare, a 401(k) with employer match, and paid time off where allowed.

Responsibilities

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collect green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and process in the POS system as trained.
• Issue receipts for guest purchases.
• Take messages for staff or guests.
• Assist in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies.
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Summary:

The Golf Shop Associate will offer friendly and expedient service to the property’s guests and assist the golf professional staff in golf shop operations, merchandise sales and other golf-related activities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course
