Job summary

Troon is seeking a part-time Golf Shop Attendant at Prince William Golf Course in Nokesville, VA. This seasonal position runs for about six months and offers a wage of $12.77 to $15.00 per hour.

You will process reservations, assist with check-in, organize shop displays, and handle green/cart fees in the POS system, issuing receipts and supporting daily cash reconciliations. Healthcare and 401(k) are provided where applicable.

• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collect green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and process in the POS system as trained.
• Issue receipts for guest purchases.
• Take messages for staff or guests.
• Assist in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies.
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Prince William Golf Course, located in Nokesville, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Golf Shop Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$12.77 to $15.00 per hour

Position Responsibilities:

Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course

Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process

Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
