United Ag & Turf is seeking a technician to set up and assemble equipment, perform pre-delivery inspections, and prepare units for customer delivery. The role may involve guidance from the Service Manager or senior technicians.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions. Forklift experience is preferred and employees must provide their own tools.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license is required.
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Ability to assemble machinery components and follow pre-delivery instructions.
• Ability to operate vehicles, tools and equipment used in pre-delivery and set-up.
• Fundamental knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power transmission, AC and electrical systems on machines.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Employee must provide their own tools.

Purpose

Responsible for set-up and assembly of all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership. Performs pre-delivery inspections and prepare equipment for delivery to the customer. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Service Location Manager, Shop Foreman or senior technicians.

Experience Requirements

• Valid Driver’s license required.

• Ability to operate vehicles, tools and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up process.
• Fundamental level of knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by United Ag & Turf.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred Education or Experience
• Forklift experience, preferred.
