Job summary

Edwin Watts Golf seeks a part-time Golf Sales Associate to promote our store culture and assist customers with expert product knowledge. You will operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment, assist with merchandising, and keep the floor organized to deliver an outstanding in-store experience.

Experience in the golf industry is a plus, and training opportunities are emphasized. The role offers flexible scheduling and benefits such as employee discounts and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background is required.
• Any experience working in the golf industry is a plus (entry-level candidates will also be considered!).
• Proficiency with basic computer systems is referenced in the duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an awareness of golf product knowledge, terminology, promotions, demos and ads.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend suitable golf equipment.
• Educate customers to compare products and make educated decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database and manage stock as needed.
• Suggest process improvements once trained and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
