Job summary

Edwin Watts Golf in Nashville seeks a friendly Golf Sales Associate to promote a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf’s values. You will help customers select equipment, demonstrate products, and keep the floor organized.

You will work with launch monitors and golf simulators, handle stock, and contribute to merchandising while learning about products. The role offers part-time hours, performance-based commission, and benefits such as employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background is required.
• Experience in the golf industry is a plus (entry-level candidates will be considered).

Responsibilities

• Promote a store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf’s values, including the “Sure No Problem” philosophy.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and recommend golf equipment based on features and benefits.
• Educate customers on golf products and help them compare differences to make informed decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experience.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from stockroom and take inventory as needed.
• After training, identify ways to improve processes and contribute to efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
