Job summary

Edwin Watts Golf, part of the Worldwide Golf family, is seeking a Golf Sales Associate in Orlando to help customers select golf equipment and provide expert advice. You will learn the products, assist with in-store experiences using launch monitors and simulators, and support merchandising and stock replenishment.

The role offers flexible scheduling, a focus on customer service, and opportunities to grow within a major golf retailer.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background is required.
• Experience in the golf industry is a plus (entry-level considered).

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain store culture aligned with Worldwide Golf's values (Sure No Problem).
• Assess customer needs and recommend suitable golf equipment.
• Educate customers on golf products and compare options to aid decisions.
• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator to provide data during in-store experiences.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandising, and keep the sales floor organized and clean.
• Check merchandise availability and assist with stockroom replenishment as needed.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
