Job summary

Edwin Watts Golf is seeking a part-time Golf Sales Associate to promote a customer-focused shopping experience in-store. You will apply golf knowledge to assess needs and recommend equipment, educate customers about features, and help compare options for informed decisions.

You will operate launch monitors and golf simulators to provide data, assist with merchandising and stock checks, and support management with process improvements as trained.

Qualifications

• Golf knowledge/background is required.
• Experience in the golf industry is a plus; entry-level considered.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Strong customer service and sales mindset.

Responsibilities include:Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements.Evaluate customers’ needs, apply knowledge of golf equipment features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf equipment for the customer.Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during in-store experienceAssist with floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf’s standards.Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store.
