Job summary

City of Arlington is seeking a hospitality/operations specialist to manage day-to-day clubhouse activities for an 18-hole golf course. This role includes cash handling, tee-time coordination, event support, and collaboration with F&B and maintenance teams.

You will assist with golf lessons, tournaments, and special events, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest service in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of clubhouse operations and golf services.
• Familiarity with pro shop, beverage service and cart fleet management.
• Understanding of tournament operations and event software usage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public.
• High school diploma or GED plus relevant clubhouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales, cash, and daily deposits at the point-of-sale system.
• Schedule tee times, manage tournament bookings and maintain pace of play.
• Assist with instructional programs and events.
• Coordinate tournament meals and beverage cart service.
• Answer public inquiries about course operations and services.
• Assist with hiring, training, and supervising clubhouse staff.
• Oversee golf cart fleet maintenance and rotation.
• Support opening/closing duties and inventory management.
