Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a highly capable First Assistant Golf Professional to support daily Golf Shop and Guest Services operations. You will coordinate with the Director of Golf to ensure top-tier guest experiences and meet financial targets.

The role requires at least two to three years of supervisory experience, PGA involvement preferred, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. A fast-paced environment with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• PGA membership or in the process of obtaining is preferred.
• Two to three years’ supervisory experience preferred.
• Computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
• Must have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Golf Shop and Guest Services.
• Act as liaison between Head Golf Professional and golf departments; meet regularly to discuss procedures, goals and revenue targets.
• Assist with all tournament operations and budget creation; monitor revenues and expenses.
• Train and develop staff in golf operations, tournaments and merchandising.
• Provide performance appraisals and manage hiring, supervision and task delegation.
