Job summary

Sand Valley is a golf resort in central Wisconsin offering six courses and year-round outdoor experiences. The Golf Operations Intern will gain hands-on experience across golf operations, working with PGA Professionals to support daily operations, tournaments, retail, and practice facilities.

You'll learn about PGA Golf Management internship requirements and build knowledge through professional development opportunities. This seasonal role runs from mid-April through mid-October.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to Sand Valley with a warm, genuine approach, answer questions, and help them navigate their golf itinerary.
• Support inside golf operations, including charging and tracking golf rounds, point-of-sale transactions, retail, and inventory processes.
• Support guests before and after play by tagging and transporting golf bags, cleaning clubs, and assisting with vehicle loading or storage.
• Ensure the bag storage room is kept clean, organized, and ready for daily operations.
• Support daily practice range operations, including transporting and washing range balls, operating the ball picker, and filling range containers.
• Maintain a clean, guest-ready practice area by caring for the tee area, repositioning bag stands or barriers, refilling club cleaner, and removing trash.
• Refill water stations on the golf course.
• Assist with the preparation and execution of tournaments and outings.
• Support other areas of Golf Operations as needed.
