Job summary

Sand Valley, a premier golf resort in central Wisconsin, invites applications for a Golf Operations Intern. The position runs from mid-April through mid-October and offers hands-on experience across golf operations, tournaments, retail, and practice facilities.

You will work alongside PGA Professionals to support daily operations and help deliver a welcoming guest experience. This internship emphasizes professional development and may count toward PGA Golf Management internship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to Sand Valley with a warm, genuine approach and help them navigate their golf itinerary.
• Support inside golf operations, including charging and tracking golf rounds, POS transactions, retail and inventory processes.
• Assist guests with bag tagging/transport, club cleaning, and vehicle loading/storage.
• Keep bag storage room clean and ready for daily operations.
• Support daily practice range operations, including transporting and washing range balls and operating the ball picker.
• Maintain a clean, guest-ready practice area and refill supplies as needed.
• Refill water stations on the golf course.
• Assist with tournament and outing preparations and execution.
• Support other Golf Operations areas as needed.
