Job summary

16th Circuit in Missouri is seeking a Parks + Rec maintenance worker to operate golf course maintenance equipment and tools, and to assist with asset and infrastructure improvements on a county scale.

You will participate in ice and snow control operations when needed and perform heavy manual labor, including cutting brush and trees from county infrastructure. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus CDL Class B with air brake endorsement within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Division-specific training within six months of hire.
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement within six months of hire.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment background and drug screen.

Job Duties

• Responsible for operating various golf course maintenance equipment such as handheld equipment, hand tools, and other power equipment; asset and infrastructure improvements and manual labor as necessary.
• Participates in ice and snow control operations if needed.
• Cuts brush and trees from county infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must complete Division specific training within six months of hiring date
• Must obtain a Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement within six months of hire
• Heavy lifting is required, sometimes in excess of 50 lbs.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background/drug screen.
