Qualifications

• Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observes in-store interviews and department tours to supports building and hiring a strong team.
• Builds a people-first culture by connecting with teammates to build mutual trust and store recognition.
• Plans 30-days out with guidance from Assistant Store Manager, aligning workforce to execute daily tasks and events.
• Leverages teammates to meet brand standards, manage programs, and delegate tasks by priority.
• Assists store leadership with general supervision, opening/closing, cash office, and firearms sales in compliance with regulations.
• Upholds merchandising and presentation standards; follows floor sets and inventory replenishment.
• Trains teammates on procedures and programs, onboarding new teammates and cross-training current staff.
• Maintains loss prevention standards and controls; coaches others and explains the "why" behind tasks.
• Leads by example to align responsibilities with store goals and delivering a strong shopping experience.
• Creates an inclusive environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome and safe.
• Follows safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; keeps company information confidential.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
