Job summary

Navy Region Hawaii Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Pest Control Worker assigned to CNIC/CNRH to manage pest prevention on a golf course complex including driving range and greens. The incumbent will apply pesticides, operate equipment, maintain records, and ensure environmental compliance.

The role requires capability to lift up to 80 lbs, handle hazardous chemicals, and work outdoors under varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Must obtain DoD pest control certification within one year of employment.
• Must interpret specifications and sketches and have good practical math skills.
• Qualified Motor Vehicle Operator capable of driving trucks up to five tons, incl. dump trucks and tractors.
• Must lift up to 80 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Directs and participates in pest control operations (spraying, dusting, spreading) on golf course facilities.
• Operates course equipment (green mowers, tractors, dump trucks) and maintains pesticide records per regulations.
• Performs beautification and landscaping tasks as assigned and supervises supporting personnel.
