Job summary

Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, FL is seeking a full-time on-site employee for golf course maintenance duties including fertilizer/pesticide applications, calibration of equipment, and course care. Applicants should have a high school diploma and relevant golf-course experience.

2+ years on-the-job golf course experience are preferred; valid Florida applicator license or ability to obtain within 90 days; must pass a drug screen and lift 50+ lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of on-the-job golf course experience.
• Valid Florida Commercial Applicator License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Be able to lift 50+ lb. bags/containers and work outdoors year-round.
• Pass a standard drug screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in fertilizer / pesticide applications and calibrate all application equipment regularly.
• Maintain records of fertilizer and pesticide applications as well as inventories of consumables.
• Assist in mowing, course setup, handwatering or other duties based on daily operational needs.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Turf Management Degree or Certificate or other associate’s degree preferred
