Job summary

The City of Englewood is seeking a Golf Course Leader to oversee all golf course activities, staff, and programs at Broken Tee Golf Course. You will drive daily operations, planning, and guest experiences within budget constraints.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff development, collaboration with marketing, and coordinating facility maintenance and vendor relations. CPR/AED certified and a valid Colorado driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration, Public Administration, Sports Management, Marketing, Golf Administration, or related field.
• An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant job experience may be substituted.
• 3 years’ experience in golf course leadership with at least 2 years of customer service supervisory experience.
• Certifications and Licenses: CPR/AED; Valid Colorado driver’s license with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, coordinate, and evaluate golf course activities, grounds, services, programs and events at Broken Tee Golf Course.
• Develop fee structures and monitor budgets; ensure adherence to financial practices.
• Ensure staff compliance with City policies and procedures.
• Hire, train, schedule, motivate and evaluate supervisor staff; develop staffing plans.
• Oversee facility maintenance, custodial operations, landscaping, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee procurement and control expenditures within budget parameters.
• Coordinate security, safety, and incident response; liaise with Risk Management.
• Collaborate on marketing plans to boost engagement and participation.
• Coordinate equipment, furniture, and facility maintenance across sites.
