Job summary

Invited is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily operations of the Golf Course Maintenance department. The role includes turfgrass and plant maintenance, property and asset management, and expense forecasting.

You will schedule irrigation, apply pesticides, keep records, and ensure regulatory compliance under the Superintendent’s guidance. Reporting to the 1st Assistant Superintendent, you will help provide agronomic direction for greens and grounds, coordinate chemical

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Golf Course Maintenance.
• Current State Pesticide Applicators License or must obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the 1st Assistant Superintendent/Superintendent.
• Provide agronomic direction for healthy growth of grasses, trees, wetlands, and other plant materials on the golf course and clubhouse grounds.
• Coordinate chemical treatments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee crew scheduling and task assignment.
• Provide hands-on training in techniques, operations, and safety (OSHA standards).
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of golf course equipment.
• Assist in executing maintenance programs and participate in management meetings.
