Job summary

Invited is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily Golf Course Maintenance operations. You will help manage turfgrass, plant materials, irrigation, pesticide applications, and asset records under the Superintendent’s guidance.

You will schedule, train, and supervise team members, ensuring OSHA-compliant safety practices and proper use of equipment while contributing to maintenance programs and club goals.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in Golf Course Maintenance.
• Current State Pesticide Applicators License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide agronomic direction for grasses, trees, wetlands, and other plant materials on the course and clubhouse grounds.
• Coordinate chemical treatments and document applications to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in supervising crew, scheduling tasks, and assigning duties.
• Provide hands-on training to staff in technical skills, safety, and club protocols (OSHA standards).
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of golf course equipment.
• Assist in maintenance programs and participate in management meetings to review operations.
