Job summary

Jekyll Island is seeking Golf Course Maintenance I, II, or III to support daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, and related areas at our island courses. Under general supervision, you will perform mowing, trimming, edging, bunker maintenance, and seasonal upkeep to ensure guest play and course playability.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of golf course or landscape experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be self-motivated and reliable.
• Must be available on rotating weekends and holidays.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
• Successful completion of MVR and criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Mow greens, tees, fairways, collars, roughs, edging, raking, and smoothing bunkers.
• Perform grass trimming around trees, cart paths, hazards, and other objects; rotate tee markers; place cups and pins.
• Maintain bunkers by debris removal, raking, and edging; move tee markers for daily play.
• Operate light handheld machinery (weed eaters, backpack blowers, cart path edgers) and mowers to maintain course areas.
• Perform general golf course maintenance and routine shop/storage area housekeeping.
