Job summary

Invited is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to help manage daily operations of the Golf Course Maintenance department. The role includes turfgrass and plant material maintenance, irrigation management, and regulatory compliance, under the Superintendent's guidance.

Responsibilities include assisting with agronomic direction, chemical treatment coordination, crew oversight, training, and equipment maintenance to support club operations and safety programs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Golf Course Maintenance.
• Current State Pesticide Applicators License or completed within 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Associates degree in Turf Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of equipment, products, and resources related to Golf Course Operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist agronomic direction for healthy growth of grasses, trees, wetlands, and other plant materials on golf course and clubhouse grounds.
• Coordinate application and documentation of chemical treatments, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Oversee crew scheduling and task assignment under the supervision of the Superintendent.
• Provide hands-on training to employees in technical skills, operations, and safety per OSHA standards.
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of golf course mechanical equipment.
• Participate in meetings to review operations, maintenance, golf activities, and safety concerns.
