Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf’s Encanterra site seeks an Irrigator 2 to support golf course and common grounds irrigation, reporting to the Irrigation Manager. The role requires hands-on irrigation operations, equipment maintenance and daily data tracking in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of irrigation experience, familiarity with Toro or Rain Bird systems, and a focus on quality to maintain premier playing conditions at Encanterra in Queen Creek, AZ.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years golf course irrigation and maintenance experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Toro®, Rain Bird® or other irrigation product certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret as-builts, plans and SDS.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily irrigation operations as assigned; maintain open communication with the irrigation team.
• Anticipate water requirements based on weather and plant needs.
• Coach the Irrigator 1 in duties and safety practices.
• Assist in data collection for water, fertigation, and system performance.
• Maintain and repair irrigation components and keep records up-to-date.
