Job summary

Encanterra Country Club in Queen Creek, AZ, seeks an Irrigator 2 to maintain the golf course irrigation system and support grounds. You will work with the Irrigation Manager and Irrigator 1 to ensure optimal water use and course conditions.

The role requires 1–3 years of irrigation experience, basic irrigation knowledge, and a willingness to learn. Requires a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three years’ golf course irrigation and maintenance experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Has a basic understanding of irrigation system components and can read as-builts and plans.
• Willingness to learn new skills and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily irrigation operations and communicate water needs with the team.
• Anticipate water requirements based on weather and plant needs.
• Coach Irrigator 1 in irrigation duties and safety.
• Assist with data collection for water, fertigation, and related records.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs to supervisor or mechanic.
• Support preventative maintenance for all system components.
