Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Golf Course Groundsperson to maintain turf, shrubs, and general course grounds across multiple sites in the region. You will operate mowers, edgers, and blowers, perform pruning, and assist with greenskeeper tasks as needed.

The role involves outdoor work in varying weather, lifting up to 50 pounds, and potential travel between job sites. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential for this team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience performing groundskeeping tasks on golf courses or landscapes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Capability to travel to different job sites within the region.

Responsibilities

• Mow small turf areas with fly-mo or small push mowers.
• Trim and edge using a gas-powered edger/trimmer.
• Operate a gas-powered blower.
• Trim shrubs and low trees with pruners or hedge trimmers.
• Pick up leaves, trash, and cut grass; load onto a truck or trailer.
• Perform weeding by hand or with a garden hoe or hula hoe.
• Report for daily work at different job sites within the region.
• Greenskeeper and/or Irrigator duties as assigned.
• Regular heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Regular exposure to outside environment (rain, cold, sun, or night).
• Repetitive movements: standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping.

You’d Be Responsible For

• Mowing small turf areas using “fly-mo” or small push power mowers
• Trimming and edging using a gas powered edger/trimmer
• Operating a gas powered blower
• Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves,branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas powered hedge trimmers
• Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing onto a truck or trailer
• Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe
• The ability to report for daily work at different job sites within region to perform required tasks
• Greenskeeper and/or Irrigator duties as assigned.
• Regular Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
• Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night
• Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
