Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Golf Course Groundsperson to join our team. You will be responsible for mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, and general grounds maintenance at various sites in the region.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort with outdoor conditions, including rain and night shifts. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating turf mowing equipment (fly-mo or small push mowers).
• Trimming/edging with gas powered edger/trimmer and operating a gas blower.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Mow small turf areas using fly-mo or push mowers.
• Trim/edge using gas powered edger/trimmer and shape shrubs/trees as needed.
• Operate gas powered blower and perform general site maintenance.
• Pick up leaves, trash, and grass clippings for disposal.
• Weed by hand or with garden hoe or hula hoe; report to daily work sites within region.
• Perform Greenskeeper and/or Irrigator duties as assigned.
• Repetitive movement includes standing, walking, bending, squatting and twisting.
