Job summary

Make Golf Your Career is seeking an Outside Services Supervisor to lead the outside services team and deliver exceptional customer service for members and guests on the course and in the facilities. You will oversee cart fleet operations, bag handling, practice area setup, and staff training while ensuring safety, policy compliance, and high standards of professionalism.

This role reports to the Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf and requires lifting up to 100 lbs, outdoor work,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year in a similar role or strong golf knowledge.
• Excellent communication with members, guests, and staff.
• Knowledge of golf etiquette and rules.
• Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding service.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Attendance adherence and weekend/holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Outside Services team, including staffing, hiring, scheduling, and training.
• Monitor staff time reporting for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Assist golfers with bag loading, club cleaning, play prep, etiquette guidance, and post-round transport.
• Oversee cleanliness, organization, and functionality of outside service areas (cart fleet, storage, practice facilities).
• Address maintenance or equipment issues to ensure readiness.
• Collaborate with range attendants, marshals, and starters for smooth service delivery.
• Ensure areas are tidy and organized (pro-shop, practice areas, cart staging).
• Monitor daily assignments (practice facility prep, stocking, workspace cleanliness).
• Provide assistance as needed and take on additional tasks from management.
• Follow policy and maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
