American Golf Corporation is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily course operations, lead a team, and help achieve membership and revenue goals. The role requires overseeing reservations, tee sheets, budgeting, and staff management in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of management experience in golf or hospitality, strong communication, and proficiency with office software and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 5 years management experience in golf or hospitality operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office apps, CRM, POS systems and collaboration tools.
• Familiar with Kronos timekeeping and social media platforms.
• Strong time management, organization, and team-building skills.
• Ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• PGA/LPGA certification preferred; college degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in daily operations and act as on-duty manager in their absence.
• Maintain and grow membership and guest base by addressing concerns promptly.
• Foster open communication with members and guests through high visibility.
• Generate revenue by overseeing reservations, tee sheets, promotions, and demand strategies.
• Use POS for processing purchases and credit card transactions.
• Answer calls and manage the reservation system.
• Implement tee sheet demand strategies and guest replay initiatives.
• Assist in budget/expense management via labor scheduling and financial reporting.
• Support staff development through meetings and HR policy adherence.
• Collaborate with Superintendent, F&B Director, and department heads on facilities.
• Follow safety guidelines and monitor security procedures.
• Support American Golf initiatives and programs; perform other duties as assigned.
