Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Milford, CT is seeking a customer-focused teammate to join our golf services team. You will greet customers, assess needs, guide them to the golf services area, and perform athlete club fittings and repairs with professionalism.

As a certified club fitter, you will provide equipment recommendations, maintain product knowledge, and help the store achieve its service goals while creating an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for teammates and customers alike.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Golf fitting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect by using diplomacy and tact; ensure that customers are greeted and acknowledged; offer customers assistance as needed or requested.
• Aide customers by ascertaining their needs and directing them to the golf services area that most effectively meets their needs.
• Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge to pass on to our customers by learning about new technologies, products and services.
• Support store services sales by performing athlete club fittings and repairs.
• Is a certified club fitter that provides excellent direct and indirect customer service to align with company programs.
• Make equipment recommendations tailored to the customer.
