Job summary

PUMA North America, Inc. is seeking a hands-on assembler in Carlsbad, CA, to safely assemble golf clubs and perform loft/lie adjustments per specifications. You will read BOMs, interpret instructions, and maintain quality through precise, repetitive tasks in a fast-paced warehouse.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year in manufacturing or mechanical work. The role runs Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or hands-on mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, build specifications, and standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Basic math skills, including measuring, counting, and working with fractions/decimals.
• Dexterity to perform job functions to meet quality and production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, and quality issues.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work effectively as an individual and in a team environment.
• Able to work Monday-Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM. Available for overtime including Saturdays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with necessary support.
• Ability to adjust loft and lie of a club head by 4 across materials of construction.
• Ability to work with solvents and use PPE (gloves).
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse with varying temperatures and noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain an understanding of all product offerings and differentiate products.
• Read and interpret orders, BOMs, and work instructions to identify components and specs.
• Maintain organized workstation and follow safety policies.
• Operate tools and measuring devices safely and efficiently.
• Participate in training and maintain proficiency with assembly techniques and quality requirements.
• Cross-train to understand all assembly processes and support seasonal employees.
• Manage inventory of assembly materials and notify supervisors of low stock.
• Assist in validating new products, components, and assembly processes.
• Support continuous improvement for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Occasionally support cross-functional Cobra Puma Golf projects.
