Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking a backend-focused engineer to design, build, and maintain services powering the Stargazer automation platform. You will drive reliability by managing error budgets and surface problems through strong observability and instrumentation.

You will work with Golang, Java, GraphQL, and a stack including MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, and Kubernetes to scale high-throughput pipelines and coordinate with product and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Production experience with backend services in a cloud environment.
• Experience building scalable streaming pipelines and high-throughput systems.
• Strong knowledge of observability and incident management practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services for the Stargazer automation platform.
• Champion reliable engineering practices and manage error budgets.
• Ensure proper instrumentation, monitoring and integration with in-house incident management system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to scale systems and prevent antipatterns.
