Job summary

Programmers.io in Tampa, FL is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with Go expertise to design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs powering our applications. You will collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver robust software that meets business needs.

You will implement strong PostgreSQL data models, optimize queries, and drive CI/CD and cloud-native practices to ensure high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Golang expertise with 6+ years hands-on development.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience: design, indexing, optimization.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud/delivery pipelines (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Testing, debugging, and CI/CD integration know-how.
• Version control with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Frontend exposure (TypeScript/React/Node.js) is a plus.
