Bestow, a leading life-insurance technology platform, is seeking a Go backend engineer for Pre-Sales Tools to build scalable services that power agent quoting, configuration, and pre-checkout submissions. You’ll collaborate with App & Checkout teams and contribute to architectural decisions in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll apply your experience with distributed systems, API design, and Docker-based development while leveraging AI tools to improve code quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional backend software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale Go services powering agent quoting and configuration tools.
• Partner closely with App & Checkout teams to align surfaces.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and drive edge-case handling as volume scales.
• Write unit and integration tests and review peers’ code.
• Use AI coding tools as part of daily workflow.
• Support knowledge transfer within a team with contractor ratio.
• Follow and help improve CI/CD practices.
