Job summary

Coverwatch is building an AI-native commercial insurance broker from day one. You will help shape the technical DNA of the company and the future of the insurance industry, working directly with the founders and customers.

Our stack spans Next.js, React, TypeScript on the frontend and Python, FastAPI, Temporal, Pydantic on the backend. You’ll own end-to-end features, design systems from scratch, and prototype real-world AI used by brokers to manage risk.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of production software experience.
• Backend design and production-quality code.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and LLM orchestration.
• Experience with Temporal and AI agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end features autonomously from concept to production.
• Design and architect systems from scratch.
• Build and evaluate AI workflows used by brokers to manage risk.
• Collaborate with brokers and customers to iterate based on real outcomes.
