Job summary

HireHi is hiring a backend engineer to design and build platform capabilities that power real-time messaging at scale. You will improve performance, reliability, and contribute to low-latency messaging, Pub/Sub services, and AI-driven infrastructure.

You’ll own architecture and drive technical decisions, delivering production-grade software autonomously in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment. Experience with Go/Node.js and distributed systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with Go, Node.js, or similar.
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of scalability, concurrency, and fault-tolerant design.
• Familiarity with Pub/Sub messaging.
• Ability to deliver production-grade software autonomously.
• Nice to have: Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, streaming systems, cloud infra.
