Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Strong Go development skills and production services experience
• Experience designing/consuming REST or gRPC APIs in production
• Familiarity with Protocol Buffers, contract‑first development and code generation
• Experience with relational or distributed data stores (Cloud Spanner) and Redis
• Proficient with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to troubleshoot across API/service boundaries

Responsibilities

• Design and implement API capabilities using Go, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers
• Develop and evolve service endpoints and orchestration logic
• Integrate with internal/external systems using SOAP, GraphQL, and enterprise adapters
• Translate requirements into Protocol Buffer contracts and API designs
• Expose platform APIs to internal applications through well-defined interfaces
• Address caching and data consistency across distributed services
• Build and maintain automated tests with Go testing frameworks
• Support user-facing feature delivery with stable API contracts
• Participate in platform modernization toward gRPC-based delivery
• Contribute to code reviews and CI-driven engineering practices
