Job summary

The Boeing Company is actively recruiting for a Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer (Associate, Mid-Level, or Lead) to join our team in Hill Air Force Base, UT or Layton, UT. The role spans GNC design, analysis, simulation, and sustainment for Minuteman III programs.

You will work with senior engineers, applying Kalman filtering techniques, Matlab/Simulink modeling, and real-time implementation to ensure mission success in a demanding defense environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
• Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
• Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience and a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education
• Experience or coursework in control systems or guidance, navigation, and control system design

Responsibilities

• Gather system level requirements for guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) sustainment requirements definition
• Perform and document analysis of guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems, simulations, models, and tools
• Support reviews, analyzes, simulations, and component/system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations
• Support testing and troubleshooting of sustainment related products/service anomalies and incidents
• Participate in Minuteman III Guidance efforts to ensure End of Life (EOL) can be sustained or surpassed
• Works under direction of senior engineers, under general direction, or independently
