Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) seeks mid-career and senior Guidance, Navigation & Controls Analysis Engineers to join the Propulsion IPT supporting ICBM Minuteman flight control hardware and related systems at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

Roles involve failure investigations, requirements analysis, and design validation with emphasis on test equipment and electrical interfaces; candidates must be eligible for U.S. Citizenship and security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' related work experience (Mid-Career) or 9+ years (Senior).
• Experience with troubleshooting electrical/electronic hardware.
• Experience with automated test equipment and avionics hardware.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, data acquisition systems.
• Experience developing or modifying test procedures and automated test solutions.
• Experience with requirements development, verification, and validation for electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support failure investigations and root cause analyses for flight hardware, test equipment, electronic components, and subsystem interfaces.
• Participate in system requirements analysis, verification, and validation for electrical and test system functions.
• Translate functional requirements into specifications (hardware or software) and designs, specify and evaluate systems and architectures to comply with requirements.
• Perform test data analysis to validate system against design requirements and objectives.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical/electronic issues in automated test equipment and flight control hardware.
