Job summary

The Boeing Company is actively recruiting for a Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer to join our team at Hill AFB, UT or Layton, UT. The role covers sustainment of GNC systems for the Minuteman III program, with emphasis on analysis, simulation, testing, and reliability.

Ideal candidates bring strong background in control systems, Kalman filtering, real-time implementation, and experience with Matlab/Simulink.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field; US-equivalent qualifications acceptable.
Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree.
Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree.
Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree.
Experience or coursework in control systems or guidance, navigation, and control system design.

Responsibilities

Gather system level requirements for guidance, navigation, and control sustainment.
Perform and document analysis of GNC systems, simulations, models, and tools.
Support reviews, analyses, simulations, and component/system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet customer requirements.
Support testing and troubleshooting of sustainment related products/service anomalies and incidents.
Participate in Minuteman III Guidance efforts to ensure End of Life (EOL) goals are met.
Works under direction of senior engineers, under general direction, or independently.
