Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Chandler, AZ, seeks a GNC Engineer (Level 3 or 4) for an on-site role in our Space Sector. Contribute to long-range missile defense interceptors, space launch, and related systems on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

You will develop navigation models, evaluate IMUs and GPS sensors, and collaborate with flight software teams to verify navigation performance under demanding conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with inertial, satellite-based or integrated navigation systems.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong knowledge of navigation models and Kalman filters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assess navigation models and simulations for weapons and missile defense.
• Support analysis of inertial, GPS/GNSS, and integrated navigation systems.
• Evaluate navigation performance in diverse mission environments.
• Support Kalman filter analysis and navigation algorithm evaluation.
• Communicate technical results to engineering teams and customers.
