Job summary

Nivagen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate - GMP Operations to manage material handling, receipt, storage, issuance, and stock keeping in a GMP warehouse. You will ensure FEFO, proper labeling, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include receiving, labeling, inventory control, ERP usage, forklift operation, and adherence to safety and GMP procedures. Desired: 1–2 years of warehousing experience and forklift certification. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, material handling, inventory control, or related fields.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Strong background in warehouse operations and good documentation/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and quality requirements.
• Label, store, and segregate materials in designated storage areas (quarantine, released, rejected).
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to Manufacturing, QC, and other departments per requests or batch records.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy with 5S principles and cycle counts.
• Ensure real-time inventory accuracy using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Assist in preparation of materials for outbound shipment, including cold chain and controlled substances as applicable.
• Complete GMP documentation including logbooks, inventory forms, and transaction records.
• Support investigations of discrepancies, deviations, and inventory issues.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
